In 2019, the Women’s Soccer program made school history for being the first women’s team to compete in any NCAA Final 4. Since 2012, CMU Women’s Soccer has competed in the NCAA Tournament every year but one, making it to the Final 4, Elite 8 or Sweet 16 four times. Additionally, the program has developed six All-Americans and four Academic All-Americans. We’ve had one player repeat as All-American and another repeat as an Academic All-American. In 2019, we had our first freshman All-American (only freshman in the country that year).
Our program competes in the UAA Conference of Division 3 soccer, the strongest D3 soccer conference in the country. In addition to competing in the UAA, we consistently schedule games against the top competition in the country. All of this is done to develop a team prepared to pursue and win a National Championship. While our goal will always be to win a national championship, nothing we do will compromise our student-athletes' education or experience at one of the world's top academic institutions.
We recruit student-athletes from coast to coast and from around the world. It is our goal to bring players into our soccer family that are motivated to be the best in the classroom and on the soccer field. Our camps are our top recruiting tool and the reason our program is consistently ranked as one of the top 25 teams in the country. We look forward to working with you here at CMU to see if you can help us in our pursuit of a National Championship!
